UroFill® Provider Spotlight: Dr. Rodrigo E. Leyton
For more than 20 years, Dr. Rodrigo Leyton has developed one of the largest and most experienced Reconstructive Urologic practices in Chile. As a leader in male genital reconstruction techniques, Dr. Leyton is the leader in Chile for inflatable penile prosthesis implants, as well as the use of malleable implants and other reconstructive techniques.
This is why he has been invited to give numerous conferences and training courses both in Chile and abroad. He wrote the chapter on Sexual Dysfunctions of the Urology Manual of the Chilean Society of Urology, which is available to the public on its website.
He is the past President of the Chilean Society of Urology and a member of numerous scientific societies such as the AUA (American Association of Urology); SIU (International Society of Urology) and others. Always committed to teaching, he is a Graduate Professor in Urology.
Dr. Leyton obtained his medical degree from the University of Chile in 1990 and finished his urology training in 1995. Dr. Leyton has obtained several certifications and trainings at many prestigious hospitals including: the Mayo Clinic in Rochester Minnesota, Hospital das Clínicas in São Paulo Brazil, Hospital Sirio Libanés in São Paulo Brazil, Worcester Massachusetts Hospital, Nuestra Señora de la Paz Clinic in Bogotá Colombia, and the Necochea Argentina Hospital. He also has exhibited his numerous research works and collaborations worldwide.
Recently, he went to the teaching center of Dr. Paul Perito to be certified in the UroFill® Penile Girth Enhancement Technique, making it available to his patients in Chile.
